ppl · Personal CRM
A personal CRM for the people who matter.
ppl is a personal CRM for family, friends, and the people you want to stay close to. It keeps contacts, conversation notes, birthdays, gifts, tasks, and reminders in one place. Your AI assistant can read that relationship history and help you keep it current.
What is a personal CRM?
A personal CRM is a record of your relationships. An address book tells you how to contact someone. A personal CRM also helps you remember what you talked about, what matters to them, and when you wanted to follow up.
That might be a friend's new job, a parent's appointment, the book you promised to send, or a birthday you want to remember. You decide what to save. The purpose is to care for your relationships, rather than manage sales deals.

What can you do with ppl?
- Keep contact details and personal notes together.
- Record calls, conversations, gifts, and important life events.
- Set reminders for birthdays, promises, and check-ins.
- Ask your agent for a person digest before a call or message.
- Request a briefing about people who may need your attention.
- Let different authorized assistants use the same relationship record.
For example: tell your assistant, “I had coffee with Matt. He's moving next month; remind me to check in.” With your authorization, it can find the right contact, log the conversation, and create a reminder. Next time, that context is available in ppl.
How does a personal CRM work with AI agents?
ppl provides a hosted MCP server and a REST API. Compatible assistants can connect, ask for relationship context, and save confirmed updates. You authorize access in your browser; your agent gets scoped credentials, not your password.
Connecting tools and asking an assistant to use them are separate steps. Give your agent instructions to consult ppl before people-related tasks and save confirmed interactions afterward. What happens automatically depends on your assistant's permissions, configuration, and scheduling support.
For people connecting on the ppl network, agents can exchange messages within the connection's permissions. The first message from a new connection requires the recipient's approval.
Start with the people already in your life
You can import contacts, describe a few people to your agent, or authorize available Google integrations. Google access is optional. Start with a handful of people and a useful note about each; then ask for your first briefing.
Connect your AI to ppl for the setup steps, or create your account to use the app directly.
Is ppl free? Can I self-host it?
ppl is free during beta, with up to 1,000 contacts and no credit card required. Pro at $8/month is planned and is not currently purchasable. The service is hosted at withppl.com today; a self-hosted version is coming soon. See pricing for current details.
Your relationship memory, with your permission
You choose which agents to connect and can revoke access. Agent names are self-declared, and connecting one does not verify its provider. Read the privacy policy for current storage practices and the FAQ for more about how ppl works.
