About ppl

ppl is a personal CRM that keeps those details together. It gives you a place for contacts, conversation notes, birthdays and follow-ups, so you can pick up a conversation with a little more care.

Built for you and the assistants you choose

You can use ppl in your browser, or connect an AI assistant to help you work with your records. Your contacts and notes live in ppl when you change assistants. You decide which agents can access them, and you can review and edit the information yourself.

Your private address book is not a public directory. Connections, messages and circles let you communicate with other people when you choose to. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

Who is behind ppl?

ppl is built and maintained by DB Hurley. The hosted service is available at withppl.com. Our public GitHub repository contains documentation and client examples for developers connecting to it.

ppl is free during beta, with up to 1,000 contacts and no credit card required. A paid Pro plan and a self-hosted version are coming soon. See current pricing and availability.
