Use ppl with Claude
Connect your personal CRM to Claude, authorize access, and check your contacts before a conversation.
Updated October 10, 2026 · ppl team
A good assistant should not need your friend’s story explained from the beginning every time. Connect Claude to ppl and it can look up the notes you chose to keep, help you prepare for a conversation, and save a useful update when you ask.
Add your personal CRM
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add and Add custom connector, name it ppl, and enter https://withppl.com/mcp. Review the detected authentication settings. Use OAuth and automatic client registration for this connection. Sign in to ppl in the browser and review the permissions before approving.
Claude’s custom connector setup is available on supported paid plans. On Team and Enterprise, an owner may need to add the connector before members can connect their own accounts. Enable ppl in the conversation’s connector controls when you want Claude to use it. These controls are described in Claude’s official connector guide.
Start with something you can check
Try this request before asking Claude to change anything:
Use ppl to show my relationship briefing. Tell me which birthdays,
follow-ups, or open tasks are coming up. Do not change any records.
Compare the result with your ppl account. An empty account may have little to report; that is different from a failed connection. Add a contact yourself or bring in your existing contacts, then try again.
Prepare for the next conversation
Before a call, ask Claude to find the person in ppl and summarize your recent notes and open tasks. If several contacts share a name, identify the right one before saving an update. After the call, give Claude the facts you actually want recorded: what happened, when it happened, and whether you owe a follow-up.
Find the contact I mean before making changes. I spoke with Jordan today.
They are starting a new job next month. Show me the note you would save
and ask if I want a reminder to check in.
If Claude cannot find ppl
Check that the connector is enabled in this conversation, then check its connection status. The URL must end in /mcp, rather than the homepage or /agents. If an organization manages your connectors, ask its owner whether custom connections are permitted. If access has been revoked, reconnect and approve again; changing your prompt cannot restore a revoked token.
You can remove the connector in Claude. To end its access to your ppl account as well, revoke the associated token in ppl’s Settings > API. For a simple habit to use once the connection works, see the daily relationship routine.
